The story revolves around the lives of two women who are engaged in a scheme to marry wealthy men through false marriages. The film ends with one of the women posing as her own twin sister to try to gain access into what she believes is an abandoned building where she can find more "unwanted" brides for rich men. While plotting this with her driver, she is chased and shot by a police officer. The driver becomes frightened and drives away. When the police arrive at the scene, they find the supply of artificial blood packets and realise that something was amiss. The film also covers the story of another woman who becomes involved in such a marriage and how it affects her life.The soundtrack was released on June 20, 2006 with music composed by A. R. Rahman and lyrics penned by Mehboob .
